ST. BRELADE’S BAY HOTEL LANDSCAPING

This project involved re-working landscape areas, including reconstructing external swimming pool, sunbathing terraces and Terrace Café over winter of 2009-10.

Over only nine months we secured Planning and Building consent, detailed, specified and tendered the works, appointed a local Contractor and oversaw their works to completion by May 2010 ready for the peak summer holiday season.

JERSEY ARCHIVE LANDSCAPING

Our design for Jersey Archive created two new Civic spaces: Archive Square at front of the new Jersey Archive and the Public South Courtyard. There was also a private North Courtyard reserved for staff use.

We were keen the external landscaping harmonised with and reflected the buildings design approach. We designed a pergola over the South Courtyard Public parking, external staircase and the new entrance gates, together with designing and detailing all the hard landscaping for all external areas. Our drawings ran to several pages covering the refined detailing approach.

As the planting matured the external spaces became an extension of the building, providing high-quality spaces for relaxation and enjoyment.
